Yun Choo He (15), of Korean descent, is punished by her father (44) and forced to spend three days away from home for breaking family traditions. Yun evades her exile without her mother Hye (34)—who is traveling in Korea—finding out. During her stoic nighttime journey through streets, malls, and service stations, Yun experiences an accelerated maturity, which she only realizes upon returning home and confronting her father.
