This is the story of Santiago: an emotionally broken man who seems to have no direction and is completely adrift in his personal life. It is also the story of Laila, his teenage daughter, in what appears to be a chaotic summer in Argentina and Brazil, but which ends up being a turning point in their lives and their relationship. It is the story of a daughter's emancipation from her father, and it is the story of a man who desperately seeks only to love and be loved.
